A camping cabin is a timber building inspired by traditional Scandinavian grillkota (grill house), which is suitable for all year round glamping. A grillkota cabin would normally have a central BBQ for communal cooking and we adapted our BBQ cabin design to remove the central grill and include a solar light dome in the roof. Our camping cabins can also include an extension for additional space or a partition for a separate room in your glamping cabin.
Are camping cabins similar to bell tents & glamping pods?
No, bell tents are made from canvas and are only used for glamping in the dryer seasons. Glamping pods are made from wood but have a similar structural shape to traditional tents and usually consist of just one room. Camping cabins are inspired by traditional Scandinavian grillkota, can have extensions fitted for additional rooms and can be used all year round.
What is a BBQ cabin?
BBQ cabins are inspired by traditional Scandinavian grillkota, roughly translated as “grill houses”. These wooden grill huts can be found across Scandinavian countries and historically would offer a sheltered, communal space for reindeer herders to cook and socialise in. Nowadays, our modern take on a grill hut can be used by businesses to provide a place for entertaining guests and providing unique experiences.
What are your cabins made from?
Our log cabins are made from FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) and PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) certified Scandinavian Redwood. Our modern lodges have the option of being cladded with Marley Board, which is virtually maintenance free, meaning you don’t have to worry about having to re-treat or paint your cabin.
How big are your log cabins?
Our glamping cabins and BBQ cabins are available in 10m2, 14m2 and 17m2 sizes with an additional extension. Glamping cabins include a 3m extension with a partition wall as standard, with the main cabin area available in 10m2, 14m2 and 17m2 sizes. Our family glamping cabins are customised by connecting multiple camping cabins together and modern lodges are bespoke made to your specification. Well, yes - this is down to the fact that a camping cabin is still within nature, you can still enjoy the outdoors and its wildlife, you may still be cooking on a campfire or BBQ, and the comfort of having all your camping equipment under one roof.

Yes, camping cabins buildings are watertight due to their fully insulated roofs and floors, making them an ideal choice for use all year round.
Do your cabins come with electricity?
Yes, most cabins are equipped with electric sockets allowing you to charge your phone or laptop when needed. If you wish to provide off-grid glamping with solar panels or no electricity at all, we can also accommodate your cabin for these set ups.
Are your log cabins secure?
Yes, all of our cabins come with a locking door for added security and peace of mind.

We deliver and install our log cabins across the UK! Our factory is based in Derbyshire, where all our cabins are made, then sent to businesses across the country. Wherever you are in the UK, we can get a cabin to you!
